I’ve spent most of my life around art in one form or another — working in galleries, studying photography, disappearing into darkrooms, and eventually finding my way into design.

I like creating a distinct visual world for each project, whether it’s restrained or more expressive and without chasing whatever happens to be trending.

I love old photographs, books, objects with history, anime ( ★ Frieren ★), cats, bass and anything that feels a little bit considered and a little bit odd.

I’m also studying data analytics, because the part of my brain that loves composition and visual order also likes patterns and information.

I’m curious, particular and probably incapable of leaving something alone when I know it could be better.

My background is in music, but I’d wanted to learn to code for years. Development ended up becoming another thing I taught myself, which is pretty much how I’ve learned most of what I know: getting interested in something, pulling it apart and figuring out how it works.

That carries into everything else I’m into. I play guitar, spend a lot of time around motorcycles, and I’m usually tinkering with some piece of tech. I also shoot photography and video, with video being my main focus.

At Zero Saints, I handle development (code, apps and integrations) and shoot video and photography alongside Kimmy. I built the site you’re on now. I’ll happily read documentation for fun, then spend far too long finding the cleanest way to make something work, and I like planning a shoot the same way.

I’m practical, curious and probably happiest when there’s something to build, fix or figure out.
