giyawarra-nanha gulbalanha / disturbing the peace brought together twenty-one works from the National Gallery of Australia and key works from the Murray Art Museum Albury collection, highlighting the strength and diversity of First Nations artistic practice. We created a walkthrough video with curator Andrea Briggs, who guides viewers through the exhibition and its featured works. The video explores how First Nations artists give voice to stories often silenced by colonial narratives, and how the exhibition creates a dialogue around protest, silencing and the impacts of colonisation. Featured artists include Avril Quaill, Christopher Pease, Danie Mellor, Jonathan Jones, Judy Watson, Julie Dowling, Karla Dickens, Lesley Murray, Lin Onus, Liz McNiven, Michael Cook, Ricky Maynard, Roy Kennedy, Sandra Hill, Tony Albert and Vernon Ah Kee.
